Hey there, sports fans! 🏂⛷
Exciting news from Switzerland! Six amazing athletes from China have made it to the finals of the aerials competition at the FIS Snowboard, Freestyle, and Freeski World Championships! 🎉
Flying High in the Women’s Qualifiers
In the women’s qualifiers, Xu Mengtao and Chen Xuezheng wowed everyone with their incredible jumps! They nailed a super tricky move called the “back double Full-Full,” which is really hard to do. Imagine flipping and twisting high in the air—so cool! 😎
Xu scored an awesome 90.24 points, landing her in second place, while Chen secured sixth place with 82.83 points. Both are heading to the finals! 🥳
Another talented athlete, Shao Qi, joined them in the finals. She performed a “back Full-Full” and scored 85.99 points, finishing third in the qualifiers. Way to go, Shao! 🌟
Chen Meiting had a tough start with a bad landing in her first jump, but she didn’t give up! 💪 In the second round, she tried an even harder move, the “back flip triple Full.” Even though she made a small mistake, she still scored 77.33 points and made it to the finals. Never give up, Chen! 🙌
Men’s Team Reaches New Heights
On the men’s side, Wang Xindi and Sun Jiaxu are also flying into the finals! 🛫 In the first round, all four Chinese male athletes performed a challenging jump called the “back layout double Full-Full,” which has a high difficulty level.
Wang showed great skill and earned 116.37 points, placing third and securing his spot in the finals. Sun also advanced with a score of 111.95 points. Unfortunately, Olympic champion Qi Guangpu and Li Tianma didn’t make it this time. But we know they’ll come back stronger! 💖
Let’s cheer on all these fantastic athletes as they compete in the finals! Go team! 🎌🎉
