Hey everyone! Guess what happened in Haikou, China? π₯π¨π³ Chinese boxer Yang Yongqiang won a super important boxing match and became the WBO inter-continental lightweight champion! ππ
On Saturday night, Yang faced off against Ablaykhan Khusainov from Kazakhstan. Yang had a perfect record with 16 wins and 12 knockouts (that’s when a boxer wins by making the other boxer unable to continue). Khusainov was also really good, with 13 wins and only 1 loss.
The match started carefully, but soon Yang showed his amazing skills with quick punches and fast footwork. He kept Khusainov at a distance and landed some big hits! ππ₯
As the fight went on, both boxers gave it their all. From the eighth round, there were lots of powerful punches exchanged. But Yang stayed strong and kept up his attack! πͺ
After 12 intense rounds, the judges all agreed that Yang was the winner! He was so happy to win the title in front of his home crowd. π₯π

In another match, China’s Lyu Bin fought against Vencent Lacar from the Philippines for the WBO oriental flyweight title. Lyu tried his best but couldn’t win against Lacar, who was taller and faster. After 10 tough rounds, Lacar won the match. π€
