🏆 An Epic Father-Son Golf Battle! 🏌️♂️
At the PNC Championship in Orlando, Florida, golfing legends and their kids teamed up for an exciting tournament! This weekend, the father-son duo of Bernhard and Jason Langer won the title in a thrilling playoff against Tiger Woods and his 15-year-old son Charlie.
Both teams finished the regular two rounds tied at an amazing 28-under par! That means they scored 28 shots better than the standard score for the course. They were three shots ahead of other talented teams like Team Duval, Team Singh, and Team Harrington.
To decide the winner, the Langers and the Woods went back to the 18th hole for a playoff. Both teams had a chance to make an “eagle”, which is two shots under par for the hole. But neither Tiger nor Charlie could sink their putts. Jason Langer also missed his putt. It all came down to Bernhard Langer, who made an incredible 18-foot putt to win the championship! 🎉
But that wasn’t the only excitement! Earlier in the day, Charlie Woods made his very first hole-in-one on the 4th hole! A hole-in-one is super rare and happens when a golfer hits the ball into the hole in just one shot. Charlie and his dad celebrated with big smiles and high-fives! 🙌
Not to be outdone, professional golfer Padraig Harrington also made a hole-in-one on the 8th hole later in the tournament!
It was an unforgettable weekend full of amazing golf, family teamwork, and heart-pounding moments! ⛳️
