Hey there, winter sports fans! Have you heard the amazing news about Gu Ailing? She’s a super-talented 21-year-old freestyle skier from China, and she just won her 17th Freestyle Skiing Halfpipe World Cup! 🏆 How cool is that?
Gu competed at Copper Mountain on Saturday and showed everyone how it’s done. She had an awesome score of 90.50 points in her first run, which put her in the lead. Even though she made some mistakes in her next runs, she held on to the top spot!
Guess what? This is her 14th win in a row in the halfpipe event! That’s like winning every game in a whole season! 😮
Her teammates, Li Fanghui and Chen Zihan, also did a great job. Li finished fifth, and Chen came in eighth. Way to go, Team China! 🇨🇳
Coming in second place was Zoe Atkins from Great Britain, who had a fantastic score of 89.75 points. It was a close competition!
