Rising Star Yang Hansen Dazzles in NBA Summer League Debut! 🌟🏀
Hey basketball fans! Have you heard about Yang Hansen? He’s a super talented 20-year-old basketball player from China who just made an amazing debut in the NBA Summer League! 😊
Yang was picked 16th in the 2025 NBA draft by the Portland Trail Blazers. In his very first game, he showed everyone what he’s made of! He scored 10 points, grabbed 4 rebounds (that’s when you catch the ball after someone misses), dished out 5 assists (that’s when you pass the ball to a teammate who then scores), stole the ball once, and made 3 awesome blocks (that’s when you stop the other team from scoring)! 😲
The Trail Blazers played against the Golden State Warriors in Las Vegas and won big: 106-73! From the start, Yang was on fire. He made a super cool bounce pass to his teammate Sidy Cissoko, who scored the first points for the team. Then, he made a fantastic pass to DJ Carton for an easy basket. The Trail Blazers were leading 15-2 in no time! 🔥
Yang scored his first basket by smoothly dribbling past Isaiah Mobley and making a lay-up (that’s a close shot near the basket). He even surprised everyone by making a three-pointer (a shot from behind the three-point line) that banked off the backboard and went in! The crowd went wild! 🎉
In the second half, Yang showed off his great footwork (that’s how well he moves his feet to get past defenders) and skills inside the paint (the area near the basket). He also made some big defensive plays, including an amazing block against Jackson Rowe that made everyone gasp! 😮
His teammates Rayan Rupert and Caleb Love were also fantastic, scoring a combined 41 points! The Trail Blazers looked strong and are excited to play their next game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Go Yang and the Trail Blazers! 🎊
