Guess what? The Chinese men’s 3×3 basketball team just had an awesome day at the FIBA 3×3 World Cup in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia! 🇲🇳
They played two exciting games and won them both! 🎉
First, they faced Puerto Rico and won 21-17. Then, they had a nail-biting match against Canada and came out on top with a 22-20 victory!
The team includes four super players: Guo Hanyu, Xiang Zhichao, Zhang Dianliang, and Wu Xingrui.
In the game against Canada, Wu Xingrui made some super cool moves, like a crafty fake that led to an easy layup! 🏀💨 Guo Hanyu was on fire with his outside shots, helping the team take the lead.
But Canada didn’t give up and kept the game close. It was tied at 20-20 with just over 30 seconds left! ⏰
Then, Xiang Zhichao stayed calm under pressure and scored the winning basket! 🎯
Earlier, against Puerto Rico, the game was also super close. But the Chinese team worked together and pulled ahead in the final minutes. Wu Xingrui sealed the deal by making the final free throw! 💪
Team China is in Group C, along with France, Austria, Canada, and Puerto Rico. They are off to a great start with these two wins!
