Hey table tennis fans! ๐Ÿ“ Guess what? Wang Chuqin, an Olympic champion and the world’s number 2 table tennis player, just helped his team, Shandong, win their fourth match in a row at the Chinese Table Tennis Super League (CTTSL)! ๐ŸŽ‰

The big game took place in Xiong’an, in north China’s Hebei Province. In the first match, Shandong’s duo Liang Jingkun and Lin Yun-Ju took on Jiangsu’s Liang Yanning and Song Zhuoheng. They won three straight games with scores of 11-7, 11-9, and 11-6. That gave Shandong an early lead of 1-0! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Next up was Wang Chuqin in the singles match against Quan Kaiyuan. But during the match, Wang felt dizzy because his blood sugar dropped. ๐Ÿ˜ฐ He took a quick break to have some chocolate and drinks to feel better. ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿฅค After that, he came back strong and won the match 11-9, 13-11, and 11-2! That made it 2-0 for Shandong.

In the third match, Liang Jingkun played against Song Zhuoheng again and won 11-9, 11-5, and 11-6. With this victory, Shandong wrapped up the game with a 3-0 win! ๐Ÿ…

Wang Chuqin said after the match, “I played as I normally do. In the second game, I had a big lead but got a bit distracted. When my blood sugar dropped, I ate some chocolate and had some drinks to feel better.” ๐Ÿ˜Š

On the women’s side, Shanghai’s team won their match against Huangshi 3-0. In the doubles, Chen Yi and Sun Mingyang beat Wang Tianyi and Han Fei’er. Then, He Zhuojia won her singles match against Shin Yubin from South Korea, and Chen Yi won the final singles match against Han Fei’er. Great job, everyone! ๐ŸŒŸ
