Great news! Olympic gold medalists Sui Wenjing and Han Cong are returning to the ice next season! 🥇 These amazing Chinese figure skaters are set to compete again after taking a break since their stunning performance at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
If you don’t know them yet, Sui and Han are a legendary pair in figure skating. They won the gold medal at the Beijing Winter Olympics and grabbed silver at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. They’re known for their incredible lifts, spins, and synchronized moves that wow the audience every time!
This upcoming season, they’ve been named in China’s team for the 2025-2026 ISU Grand Prix series. They’ll be skating at the Cup of China in Chongqing and the NHK Trophy in Japan. The Grand Prix series kicks off in France on October 17th and travels to countries like Canada, the United States, and Finland.
But that’s not all! China is aiming to qualify for the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics. There’s a big qualifying event in Beijing this September, and Sui and Han’s return could make a huge difference!
