Korir Brothers Make History at Boston Marathon! πŸ†

John Korir Wins Boston Marathon, Just Like His Brother! πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

Hey there, young sports fans! Have you heard the exciting news from the Boston Marathon? John Korir from Kenya has won the men’s race! πŸŽ‰ But that’s not allβ€”his brother, Wesley Korir, won the same race back in 2012. That makes them the first brothers ever to both win the Boston Marathon! How cool is that?

Despite a fall at the very start, John didn’t give up. Around the 34-kilometer mark, he zoomed ahead of everyone and kept the lead all the way to the finish line, crossing it in just 2 hours, 4 minutes, and 45 seconds. That’s super fast! πŸš€

In the women’s race, more history was made! Sharon Lokedi, also from Kenya, set a new course record with a time of 2 hours, 17 minutes, and 22 seconds. She outpaced the defending champion Hellen Obiri and became the fastest woman ever on this course! πŸ₯‡

Sharon was over the moon and said, “It feels so good, so great. I can’t believe it, I’m so excited!” It’s amazing to see someone achieve their dreams with such determination. 🌟

A big shout-out to all 32,000 runners who participated this year! Maybe one day, you’ll be running alongside them. Would you like to run a marathon someday? Keep chasing your dreams and never give up! πŸ…
