China’s rising tennis star, Zheng Qinwen, is super excited about the upcoming Australian Open! She’s gearing up to possibly face off against the world’s top player, Aryna Sabalenka from Belarus.
“I know I’ll have to play my best to beat her,” Zheng said. “But I’m ready for the challenge!”
Last time they played, Zheng learned a lot and is now more confident.
“Playing against her before gave me good memories and taught me valuable lessons,” she recalled. “I’m focusing on the present and giving it my all.”
Zheng is also set to play against Romania’s Anca Todoni in the first round. She’s preparing hard and staying focused.
“I don’t have much information about her,” Zheng admitted. “But I’ll do my best and see what happens!”
