Syria says all weapons to come under 'state control'

Syria’s New Leader Wants All Weapons Under State Control 🕊️

Hey everyone! Guess what? There’s some big news from Syria, a country in the Middle East. Syria has a new leader named Ahmed al-Sharaa. 🧑‍💼 He’s making important decisions to bring peace to his country.

For almost 14 years, Syria has been in a civil war, which is like a big fight within the country. Many people have been affected, and lots of families had to leave their homes. 😢

Now, Ahmed al-Sharaa wants to make sure that all weapons in Syria are only under the control of the government. This means groups with their own weapons will join the national army, so there won’t be any weapons outside of state control. 🔐

He said, “We will absolutely not allow there to be weapons in the country outside state control.” He believes this will help bring peace and safety to everyone in Syria. 🌟

Other countries are helping out too! Turkey’s Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, visited Syria and said that sanctions (which are rules that limit trade and other things) on Syria should be lifted. This could help Syria rebuild and get back on its feet. 🏗️

Egypt and Russia are talking about ways to support Syria as well. They want to respect Syria’s unity and help all the Syrian people. ❤️

Even Saudi Arabia is pitching in! They sent food baskets and hygiene kits to families in Aleppo, a city in Syria, to help those affected by an earthquake earlier this year. 🍲🧼

It’s great to see everyone coming together to help Syria. Let’s hope for peace and a bright future for all the children and families there! 🙏🌈
