Final touches added to giant snowman at Harbin snow sculpture expo

Harbin’s 20-Meter-Tall Snowman Completed for Snow Sculpture Expo ⛄️

Hey there, snow lovers! ❄️ Guess what? In Harbin, a city in China known for its super cool ice and snow festivals, they’ve just finished building a giant snowman called “Mr. Snowman”! And when we say giant, we mean it—he’s 20 meters tall! That’s like stacking about seven giraffes on top of each other! 🦒🦒🦒🦒🦒🦒🦒

This enormous snowman used 4,000 cubic meters of snow to build. Imagine how many snowballs that would be! 😲 Mr. Snowman is the tallest snowman in Harbin and is the star of the 37th Harbin Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo.

This year, the expo is bigger than ever. Over 260 amazing snow sculptures will be on display, using around 150,000 cubic meters of snow—the most in the expo’s history! You’ll see all kinds of cool sculptures, from dragons to castles, all made out of snow. 🐉🏰

But that’s not all! There will be lots of fun winter activities, like snow sports and even snow sculpture competitions. It’s all part of getting ready for the 9th Asian Winter Games, which are happening in Harbin in February 2025. 🏂⛷️

If you love snow and ice, Harbin is the place to be this winter! So bundle up, and maybe you can build your own mini Mr. Snowman in your backyard! ⛄️
