China’s Ocean Rocket Launches Four New Satellites! ππ
Hey space fans! Guess what? China just sent four new satellites into space, and they did it by launching a rocket from the ocean! How cool is that?
Launching Satellites from the Sea
On Thursday, China used a special rocket called CERES-1 to send satellites into orbit. But instead of launching from land, they launched from a ship in the sea near Shandong Province. Imagine a big rocket blasting off right from the water! π
Meet the Tianqi Satellites
The four satellites, named Tianqi 33 to 36, are part of the Tianqi Constellation. A constellation is a group of satellites that work together in space. These satellites help with the Internet of Things, or IoT. IoT is like when devices talk to each other through the internet, like your smartwatch connecting to your phone.
Why Are These Satellites Important?
The Tianqi Constellation will have 38 satellites when it’s complete. They help people all over the world by providing internet services to devices in space, in the air, on land, and even at sea! π They’re used in many areas like farming, weather forecasting, protecting forests, and keeping cities smart and connected.
About the CERES-1 Rocket
The CERES-1 rocket is special because it can launch from both land and sea. It’s made by a company called Galactic Energy, a private firm in China. So far, they’ve launched 15 missions and put 58 satellites into space!
Looking Ahead
Galactic Energy is also working on a new rocket called PALLAS-1. This rocket will be reusable, meaning it can be used again and again, which is great for the environment and space exploration! β»οΈ
Isn’t space technology amazing? Who knows, maybe one day you’ll be part of sending rockets into space too! π
