China’s Response
Mao Ning, a spokesperson from China’s Foreign Ministry, found this quite funny. She said, “Garlic probably never imagined it could pose a major threat to the U.S.!” 😂
She also pointed out that the U.S. has been labeling many Chinese products, like drones, cranes, refrigerators, and now garlic, as security risks. But she believes these claims don’t make sense.
