On Wednesday, China’s Foreign Minister, Mr. Wang Yi, visited Chad, a country in Africa. He met with Chad’s President, Mr. Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, in their capital city, N’Djamena. They talked about how they can work together to help Chad grow and develop. Isn’t that cool? 🌟
Mr. Wang Yi said that China wants to share ideas and support Chad in many ways. They want to help build schools, hospitals, and work on other projects that will make life better for the people of Chad. 🏫🏥
Do you know what makes this friendship special? Chad’s President visited China last year to attend a big meeting called the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (or FOCAC for short). There, leaders from China and many African countries came together to plan how they can help each other. 🤝
President Mahamat said that China is a true friend and a great partner. He thanked China for all the help they’ve given to Chad. He also said that Chad supports China’s ideas and wants to work closely together. ❤️
Both countries agreed to stand up against things like bullying and unfair treatment. They believe all countries should be treated equally, big or small! 🌐✌️
