Jeju Air Plane Makes Safe Landing After Gear Issue ๐Ÿš€

A Jeju Air plane had to turn back to the airport because of a landing gear problem, but everyone is safe! ๐Ÿ˜„โœˆ๏ธ

On Monday morning, a Jeju Air flight took off from Seoul’s Gimpo International Airport heading to Jeju Island. Shortly after takeoff at 6:37 a.m., the pilots noticed a problem with the landing gear. The landing gear is like the plane’s wheels that help it take off and land safely.

The plane had 161 passengers on board. The pilots decided the safest thing to do was to go back to the airport. They told the passengers what was happening, and everyone stayed calm.

The plane landed back at Gimpo Airport at 7:25 a.m., and nobody was hurt. The airline said they would use a different plane to fly the passengers to their destination.

This plane was the same model, a Boeing 737-800, as another Jeju Air plane that had an accident the day before at Muan International Airport. In that accident, the plane veered off the runway and caught fire upon landing.

A spokesperson for Jeju Air said that safety is always the most important thing. They apologized to the passengers for any inconvenience.

It’s good to know that the pilots and crew acted quickly to keep everyone safe! ๐Ÿ‘
