As 2024 comes to an end, people all around the world are thinking about their hopes for the new year. In Lebanon, a country that has faced many challenges, there’s a special story to share.
Meet Tia Chaaya, a speech and language pathologist from Beirut. After a time of conflict, peace has returned to her city. Many families are coming back home, and there’s a feeling of hope in the air.
Tia has big dreams for 2025. She wants to focus more on her job, helping people communicate better and making their lives happier. “I also want to slow down and spend more time with the ones I really love,” she says.
Her wishes are part of a global campaign called “1,001 Wishes for 2025 #Hello2025.” People from 81 different languages are sharing what they hope for in the new year. What are your wishes for 2025?
