Did you know that during the Ming Dynasty in China, people changed the way they made tea? 🍵 They moved away from complicated methods and started to enjoy tea in a simpler way.
Instead of using fancy tools, they just boiled water in kettles and steeped loose tea leaves in clay teapots. Then, they sipped the tea from small cups to really enjoy the aroma and flavor. This way, they could taste the natural essence of the tea leaves.
Even today, this method is still used and is a big part of Chinese tea culture. It shows how the Ming Dynasty has influenced the way people enjoy tea for hundreds of years!
Recently, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Macao’s return to China, a senior national tea taster and two Chinese aesthetic content creators got together. They enjoyed tea prepared just like people did in the Ming Dynasty. How cool is that? 🎉
