The Friendliest People Around
When Mahya first came to Beijing, she was amazed by how friendly everyone was. From her teachers at school to people she met on the street, everyone greeted her with warm smiles and helpful attitudes. “The people here are so kind!” she says. “They make me feel right at home.”
Blue Skies Ahead
Did you know that Beijing used to have a big problem with air pollution? When Mahya first arrived, the sky was often gray and smoggy. But guess what? Thanks to special eco-friendly plans and people working together, the skies are now clear and blue! 🌤️
Mahya is so happy to see the changes. “It’s amazing to see how much can change when people work together,” she says. “Now, I can enjoy the sunshine and breathe fresh air every day!”

China has been working hard to make life better for everyone. By focusing on what people need and coming up with smart solutions, cities like Beijing are becoming better places to live. Mahya loves how the city’s leaders listen to people’s ideas and make changes that help everyone.
Looking Forward
With events like the 2024 Beijing Forum on Swift Response to Public Complaints, experts from all over the world are coming together to talk about making cities even better. The theme is “Modernizing for People-Centered Urban Governance,” which means making cities that care about people and their needs.
Mahya is excited to see what the future holds. “I can’t wait to see how Beijing and other cities keep improving,” she says. “It’s all about working together for a better tomorrow!” 🌟
