Exciting AI News from the World Internet Conference! 🎉
Hey everyone! Guess what? The 2024 World Internet Conference just wrapped up in Wuzhen, China, and people from over 130 countries joined in! 🌍 They came together to talk about the internet’s future and something super cool: Artificial Intelligence, or AI for short! 🤖
The theme this year was all about making AI helpful for everyone. They want to use AI to make the world a better place! Isn’t that awesome? 😊
New Fun Things Introduced!
They had some amazing new ideas this year:
- WIC Distinguished Contribution Award 🏆: They gave awards to people and companies who have done great things for the internet. Seven people and 14 companies won!
- Special AI Committee 🤝: They started a new group to help countries work together on AI projects.
- Think Tank Cooperation Program 🧠: This is a team of smart thinkers from different countries who will share ideas about the internet.
- WIC Digital Academy 🎓: A new school to teach people all about the internet and AI!
They also shared two important reports about how the internet is growing in China and around the world. 📈
