Hey there! ๐ Guess what happened in Beijing recently? Countries from all over the world got together for a big event called the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE). This was the second time they’ve held it, and it’s all about how countries can work together to make things better for everyone!
So, what’s a “supply chain”? Think of it like the journey a product takes from an idea to the moment it lands in your hands. ๐๏ธ For example, when you buy a new smartphone, it was designed, the parts were made in different countries, and then it was put together and shipped to stores. All those steps make up the supply chain!
At the expo, over 600 companies and groups came together, which is 20% more than last year! Even better, more companies from other countries joined inโ32% of the exhibitors were from outside China. This shows that countries really want to work together to make things like clean energy, smart cars, cool gadgets, and green farming even better.
They also made a big plan called the “Beijing Initiative for International Cooperation on Industrial and Supply Chains.” That’s a long name, but here are the five main ideas:
- Let’s all work together openly to make sure products and services can move smoothly around the world! ๐
- Let’s connect digitally so technology can help us work better together! ๐ป
- Let’s make sure we’re kind to the Earth by going green and using less pollution! ๐ณ
- Let’s improve how we make and deliver things so everything runs efficiently! ๐
- Let’s let businesses play a big role in making all this happen! ๐ค
The goal of the expo is to help big and small companies team up, share ideas, and create awesome new things. By doing this, everyone wins! China wants to invite businesses from all over the world to join in and build a safe, stable, and helpful system where we all work together.
Isn’t it cool how countries can come together to make the world a better place? Maybe one day, you’ll be part of making these big ideas happen! ๐
