Hey there! Guess what happened in Beijing recently? 🤔 China just held a huge event called the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), and it was super successful! 🎉
Over five exciting days, more than 1,200 companies from China and all over the world came together to share ideas and make new friends in business. 😃
Can you imagine 210,000 people attending an event? That’s like filling up a big stadium several times! 🏟️ This year’s expo had even more people than last year, with a 5% increase in visitors.
The coolest part is that companies made over 6,000 new partnerships and agreements! 🤝 That’s a lot of handshakes and smiles. They also had 24,000 meetings between companies to help them work together better — that’s four times more than last year! 😮
At the expo, they showed off 152 new products, technologies, and services. That’s a 67% jump from the previous year! Imagine seeing all the latest gadgets and ideas in one place. 🚀
Li Xingqian, the vice-chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (that’s a long name, so we can call it CCPIT), said, “We’re not just looking for quick deals. We want to build friendships that last a long time!” 😊
This year, 35% of the exhibitors were international, which means companies from other countries came to join the fun. 🌍 Also, 65% of the companies were really big and important ones, like the ones you hear about in the news.
They had companies from 75 different countries and regions, including the United States, Europe, and Japan. That’s a lot of different cultures coming together! 🌐
Li also said that China is super important in making things and getting them to people around the world. He mentioned, “Without linking to China, it’s difficult to link to the world.” That’s how connected everything is! 🌏
And guess what? Next year’s expo is already looking exciting! Over 100 companies have already signed up, which is 50% more than last year. It seems like the CISCE is getting bigger and better every year! 📈
