Chinese Divers Splash to Gold at 2025 World University Games!
Hey there, sports fans! Have you heard the exciting news from the 2025 World University Games in Berlin, Germany? Two amazing divers from China, Ou Yangyu and Wang Weiying, just won a gold medal! 🥇🎉
They competed in the women’s synchronized three-meter springboard event. That’s a fancy way of saying they jump off a springy board together and do super cool flips and spins before diving into the water! 🤸♀️🤸♀️💦
At first, they were just a tiny bit ahead of the German team after the first two dives. But in the third round, they made a little mistake. 😬 Oh no! But guess what? They didn’t give up! They focused, did their best, and in the last two rounds, they scored big points! 🌟

In the men’s diving event, China’s Hu Yukang did a fantastic job but just missed getting the gold. He earned the silver medal, and Germany’s Moritz Wesemann took the gold. 🥈 Congrats to both of them!

In fencing, Dmitrii Shvelidze won the gold medal in men’s epee individual. 🤺 And Aurora Grandis from Italy took home the gold in the women’s foil final! 🎉
