A church called the Holy Family Church in Gaza was hit recently, and many people who were taking shelter there were hurt or even worse. This church was a safe place for families just like yours and mine.
UN spokesperson Stephanie Tremblay said, “Attacks on places of worship are unacceptable. People seeking shelter must be respected and protected, not hit by strikes.” 🕊️
There have been too many people hurt already, and the UN is calling for everyone to make sure civilians are safe and to allow more help to get into Gaza quickly.
Did you know that many families in Gaza have had to leave their homes? A lot of houses are destroyed, and some people don’t even have clean water or electricity. 😔
The UN helpers are saying that more fuel is needed to keep hospitals and ambulances running. They want everyone to work together to bring peace and safety back to the people of Gaza.
