Imagine being able to do all your daily activities using only your feet! That’s exactly what 10-year-old Sarah al-Barsh from Gaza is doing. Sarah lost both of her arms and her father in an air strike, but she hasn’t lost her spirit or her hope.
Despite facing such a huge challenge, Sarah has taught herself to eat, drink, write, and even take care of herself—all using her feet. Isn’t that amazing?
Every day, Sarah practices and gets better at doing things with her feet. She goes to school, studies hard, and dreams big. Her biggest wish is to get prosthetic arms (special artificial arms that can replace real ones) so she can do even more.
But Sarah’s dreams don’t stop there! She wants to grow up to be a prosthetist—a person who makes prosthetic limbs—so she can help other children who are like her.
Sarah’s story teaches us about courage and never giving up, even when things are really hard. She shows us that with determination and a positive attitude, we can overcome big challenges.
Let’s send Sarah lots of good thoughts and hope that her dreams come true soon! 🌟
