On Thursday night, the Dragons faced off against the Guangdong Southern Tigers in Dongguan, China. The game was super close, but the Dragons pulled off an amazing 100-98 victory! 🤩
The game started off strong for the Dragons. They took an early lead of 15-4! Unfortunately for the Tigers, their main center, Wang Shaojie, got hurt just 17 seconds into the game. 😢
But the Tigers didn’t give up! Players like Xu Jie and Troy Gillenwater helped them fight back. By the end of the first quarter, the Dragons were ahead 28-23.
In the second quarter, both teams missed a lot of shots. The Tigers briefly took the lead, but the Dragons’ star players, Franklin Jackson and Archie Goodwin, kept scoring and helped their team stay ahead. 🏀🔥
The game was super close at halftime, with the Dragons leading 48-46.
In the second half, things got really intense! The Tigers went on a 10-0 run, taking the lead 58-50. But the Dragons didn’t let that stop them.
