Hey everyone! Did you hear the news? The United States is helping Ukraine by sending them important equipment again! 🎉
So, what’s going on? Well, Ukraine has been facing challenges because Russia has been sending drones and missiles their way. To protect themselves, Ukraine needs special tools called artillery shells and rocket missiles.
The U.S. had paused sending some of these tools for a little while, but now they’re starting to send them again! This includes 155mm artillery shells (big bullets for big cannons) and GMLRS missiles (which stands for Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System—a fancy name for rockets that can hit targets from far away).
Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is working hard to make sure his country has everything it needs to stay safe. He even talked about wanting more air defense systems to help protect against attacks from the sky. 🛡️
There was also talk about Patriot missiles, which are really good at shooting down incoming missiles and drones. President Trump said he might send these to Ukraine, but it’s not clear when that will happen.
