After finishing its job, Tianzhou-8 separated from the space station and began its journey back to Earth. On Wednesday morning, it performed a controlled re-entry into Earth’s atmosphere. This means scientists directed it to come back safely.
As it zoomed through the atmosphere, most of the spaceship burned up due to the heat. But don’t worry! 😊 This is all part of the plan. Any remaining pieces fell into a special safe zone in the ocean, far away from people and boats.
