Stringer Dispatch: Gaza school shelter hit by air strike video poster

Gaza School Shelter Hit by Air Strike, Families Affected

Dear friends,

In the central Gaza area called Al-Bureij refugee camp, something very sad happened on July 8, 2025. A school that was giving shelter to families had an air strike hit it. This means bombs fell on the school. ๐Ÿ˜ข

Many people were hurt, and some even lost their lives. Two people who were there, Adnan and Mohammed, told us what happened.

What Did They Say?

Adnan said, “We were sleeping when big explosions woke us up. Everything was on fire! People who were just living in tents got burned.”

Mohammed added, “The school was hit by drones. The blasts were so strong that many people were killed or injured.”

Why Is This Important?

Schools are places where we learn and feel safe. It’s very upsetting when places like schools are not safe anymore. It’s important for everyone to know what’s happening so we can all hope and work for peace. ๐ŸŒ

What Can We Do?

We can talk to our families and friends about how peace is important. We can learn more about different places in the world and how people live there. Every small action helps! ๐Ÿค
