Hey everyone! 🌧️ Did you hear about the big floods in Spain? As of November 7, lots of rain caused terrible floods, leading to at least 219 people losing their lives. 😢 Also, 93 people are missing, and many families are worried.
The floods have caused huge problems. The Spanish government estimates that the damage is over 10 billion euros! That’s like buying over 10 million new bicycles! 🚲🚲🚲
In a town called Paiport, in Valencia, people are struggling. One resident said that since the storm, they have no water 💧 or electricity ⚡, and their home is flooded. She said, “The situation is still very bad.”
Volunteers are helping out, but it’s tough. One volunteer said the sewage system collapsed, so the streets are dirty and full of mud and broken furniture. 🛋️🛏️ The rescue teams don’t have enough people or equipment to help everyone quickly.
Rebuilding will take a long time, and people need all the help they can get. Let’s send our thoughts and support to the people in Spain! ❤️🇪🇸
