Guess what? On July 9th and 10th, a super cool event called the 11th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations is happening in Qufu City, in east China’s Shandong Province. 🎉
At this forum, people from all over the globe are coming together to talk about how different cultures can understand each other better and make the world a happier place! 🌏🤝
Main Theme
The big idea (or theme) of the forum is: “Beauty in Diversity: Nurturing Understanding Among Civilizations for Global Modernization.” That’s a fancy way of saying that our world is full of different cultures, and that’s what makes it beautiful! 🌈 Let’s learn from each other to make the future brighter.
What’s Happening
Over 400 experts and scholars (that’s a lot of smart people!) are joining in. 📚 There will be:
- 2 Keynote Speeches 🗣️
- 4 High-Level Dialogues 💬
- 8 Breakout Sessions 🔍
They’ll chat about cool topics like:
- Where civilizations came from and where they’re going 🏛️➡️🚀
- Why Confucian culture is still important today (Confucius was a wise teacher from ancient China!) 👴📖

Why Now?
The forum is happening around the same time as the International Day for Dialogue Among Civilizations, which is on June 10th. This special day, set by the United Nations, reminds us to talk to each other and understand different ways of life. 🗓️🤗
