On Thursday, Vice President Han Zheng spoke at the 13th World Peace Forum held at Tsinghua University in Beijing. He talked about how countries can work together to promote peace and prosperity for everyone 🎉.
He mentioned that our world is changing fast, and sometimes there are challenges and tensions between countries. But Han Zheng believes that by working together, we can overcome these challenges! 🤝
He shared some important ideas from President Xi Jinping, like building a community with a shared future for mankind. That means countries helping each other out and caring for our planet 🌱.
Han Zheng also reminded everyone that next year marks 80 years since the end of a big war called the World Anti-Fascist War and the founding of the United Nations. It’s a great time to think about how we can keep peace and make sure such wars never happen again 🕊️.
He emphasized that we should all respect international laws and work together through the United Nations. By doing that, we can build a fairer and more peaceful world 🌐.
At the forum, there were important guests like former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama and former Belgian Prime Minister Herman Van Rompuy, as well as diplomats and scholars from many countries 🌎.
