Have you ever had a disagreement with a friend and had to sit down to talk it out? Imagine doing that on a much bigger scale! Yair Bunzel, an Israeli army veteran who fought in the 1982 Lebanon War, believes that talking is the key to ending conflicts.
Yair knows firsthand how harsh war can be. He says, “Every war is brutal, and civilians always pay the price. Every person who is hurt affects generations, not just themselves.” 😔
But despite his experiences, Yair is hopeful for the future. He dreams of a day when Israelis and Palestinians can put aside their differences. “In the end, you have to put out the fire,” he says. “Putting out the fire means you sit with your enemy and you really search for a solution.” 🕊️
His message is simple but powerful: By talking and understanding each other, even the biggest problems can be solved. Just like when you make up with a friend after a fight, countries can find peace by listening and sharing. 🌍❤️
