These medals are inspired by Chengdu’s local culture and the idea of sharing. They feature some amazing designs:
- Golden Sun Bird Motif π: This ancient symbol represents the brilliance of Chinese civilization!
- Pandas πΌ: Chengdu is famous for pandas, and they appear on the medals too!
- Detachable Pin π: The center of each medal has a special pin that athletes can remove and give to someone special. How sweet is that?
On the front of the medal, you’ll see the IWGA emblem surrounded by the event’s name in both Chinese and English. The flowing lines represent Chengdu’s skyline and the ancient Golden Sun Bird pattern, creating layers of light that symbolize the spirit of sports shining brightly!
The back of the medal showcases the event’s official logo against a background of bamboo, a symbol of strength and integrity in Chinese culture. Plus, you’ll spot the adorable panda mascot “Shubao”! πΌβ€οΈ
