WADA Chief Says “No Way!” to Dangerous Enhanced Games π«
Hey, sports fans! πβ½π Do you know about the Enhanced Games? Well, the head of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), Mr. Olivier Niggli, has some strong words about them!
“It’s a joke to suggest that this can be safe,” said Mr. Niggli in an interview. He was talking about the idea of athletes using special substances to make them stronger or faster in these games.
He warned that taking these substances can have serious side effects. π “You risk a lot of side effects, whether they are immediate, mid-term, or long-term,” he explained. “There are always risks in taking medicines, whatever they are.”
Mr. Niggli is especially worried about young people. He believes it’s not right to use medicines when you’re healthy, just to get better at sports. “This is just against any medical ethics to take medicine for healthy individuals solely for performance enhancement,” he said.
He even compared it to a dangerous show from ancient times! “They have no idea what this could do to athletes,” he warned. “It’s actually a small screen to organize a Roman circus where the gladiators might die? Nobody cares.”
Remember, playing sports is about having fun, staying healthy, and doing your best without cheating! π΄ββοΈπ§ββοΈ Let’s keep sports safe and fair for everyone!
