Hey everyone! π Guess what? A group of 119 Chinese citizens have safely traveled from Israel to Egypt! Isn’t that great news? π
On Thursday, these people, including 117 students and two residents from Hong Kong, crossed the Taba border into Egypt’s South Sinai Province. They arrived at around 3:30 p.m. and were welcomed warmly before being guided onto buses heading to Cairo. π
The Chinese Embassy in Egypt worked really hard to help them. Ambassador Liao Liqiang said, “China cares a lot about our people abroad. Their safety is our top priority.” They prepared everything in just 24 hours! β±οΈ
One of the students, Sun Xue, who studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, shared that the journey took about four hours. “The embassy staff and volunteers were super helpful and kind. We’re so grateful to them,” Sun said. β€οΈ
It’s so heartwarming to see everyone working together to keep people safe! ππ€
