China Tourism Year Kicks Off in Kazakhstan! π
Hey there, adventure seekers! Guess what? The China Tourism Year just started in Kazakhstan, and it’s super exciting! π¨π³π°πΏ
The big opening ceremony happened at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Monday. Around 300 guests from both China and Kazakhstan came together to celebrate. Can you imagine that many people in one place? π²
Sun Yeli, who’s the Chinese Minister of Culture and Tourism, and Yermek Marzhikpayev, the Kazakh Minister of Tourism and Sports, were there too! They gave speeches and kicked off the fun.
One of the coolest parts is a special exhibition called “Silk and the Silk Road: From China to Kazakhstan.” It’s all about the ancient Silk Road, which was like a super long road where people traded silk, spices, and other neat stuff thousands of years ago! π«β¨
The exhibition has three awesome sections:
- Origin of Silk: Learn how silk was first made! Did you know silk comes from silkworms? π
- Road of Silk: Discover the journey traders took across deserts and mountains. Adventure time! πΊοΈ
- Use of Silk: See how silk was used in clothes and art. So fancy! ππ¨
This exhibition shows how China and countries along the Silk Road have been friends for a really long time. It’s all about sharing cultures and working together! π€
The exhibition will be open until August 8, so if you’re in Kazakhstan, you can check it out! π
But wait, there’s more! The opening ceremony also had super cool cultural performances, a Hanfu fashion show (that’s traditional Chinese clothing), and hands-on experiences with intangible cultural heritage. That’s a fancy way of saying you can learn about really old traditions and crafts! βοΈπ
Plus, the China National Silk Museum and the National Museum of Kazakhstan signed a special agreement to work together in the future. More awesome events to come! ποΈ
Isn’t it amazing how countries can share their history and culture? Maybe one day, you’ll travel the Silk Road too! π£οΈπ
