P.K. Mishra, who works closely with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, announced late on Sunday that they found the black boxes. The black boxes are actually orange-colored devices that record important data from the plane, like how fast it was going and what the pilots were saying.
The first black box, called the Flight Data Recorder (FDR), was found earlier, and now they have also found the second one, the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR). Together, they can give investigators a complete picture of what happened before the crash.
Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, India’s civil aviation minister, said that they found the first black box on June 13. He also mentioned that the investigation report will be ready in about three months.
It’s a tough time because the crash sadly took the lives of 274 people. 💔 Investigators from around the world have come to help find out what went wrong. Analyzing the black boxes might take four to five days, and we hope it will help prevent such accidents in the future.
