This month, leaders from China and Central Asian countries are meeting in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. They’re going to talk about ways to help each other use more renewable energy and protect the environment. Isn’t that cool? 😎
China has been doing an amazing job with green energy. In 2024, green technologies made up 10% of China’s economy! They invested a lot of money (that’s trillions of yuan!) into things like solar panels and wind turbines. That’s helping reduce pollution and make the air cleaner! 🍃
Central Asian countries like Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan are also joining in. For example, there’s a big wind farm in Kazakhstan called the Zhanatas wind farm. It helps generate clean electricity for many homes! 💨🏠
In Uzbekistan, they are building new solar and hydroelectric power plants. This means they can use sunlight and water to make electricity instead of burning coal or oil. How awesome is that? ☀️💧
