Hey sports fans! Have you ever seen dancers perform underwater? That’s exactly what artistic swimming is all about! And guess what? China just made a big splash at the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup Super Final held in Xi’an, China!

On Saturday, China wowed everyone by winning three gold medals in:

Team Free Magic: “Gravitation”
The Chinese team performed a fantastic routine called “Gravitation.” Imagine swimmers moving perfectly together to tell a story in the water! They scored a whopping 324.3538 points to win the gold! Japan won silver, and Spain took bronze.
The coach, Ms. Zhang Xiaohuan, was so happy she cried tears of joy! She said, “This gold lifts a huge weight off our shoulders.”
A Heroic Effort
One of the team members, Chang Hao, got injured during training but still competed! She said, “My neck is still a bit stiff, but I’ll get treatment tonight. Tomorrow, we’re aiming to make every move perfect!” Talk about dedication! πͺ

Twin sisters Lin Yanjun and Lin Yanhan won the Women’s Duet Free event! They moved in perfect sync and scored 266.1442 points. Lin Yanhan shared, “We lost to Spain last time, but we performed very well today.”

Spain’s duo, Dennis Gonzalez and Mireia Hernandez, won the Mixed Duet Technical gold. Dennis said, “These World Cup competitions are crucial for us β they’re making us sharper for the World Championships.” Mireia added, “The Chinese duo are very young and talented.”
