On Friday evening, people near Tehran, the capital city of Iran, heard loud explosions. 😮
Where did it happen?
The first big boom was near a place called Pakdasht, southeast of Tehran. Some say it might be because of air defense activities around a military site called Parchin.

More loud noises were heard in places west of Tehran, like Malard and Shahriar. Right now, nobody is sure what caused these explosions. It’s a mystery! 🤔
An Israeli Drone Shot Down
Meanwhile, Iran’s news said that their air defenses shot down an Israeli drone (that’s like a flying robot plane) near a nuclear facility called Fordow, close to the city of Qom.
What Does This Mean?
Sometimes, countries have disagreements, and they might use drones to spy on each other. When Iran shot down this drone, it was protecting its important places.
