China’s Sheng Lihao Wins Bronze at ISSF World Cup in Munich!

Guess what? At the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup in Munich, Germany, China’s shooting star Sheng Lihao just grabbed the bronze medal in the men’s 10-meter air rifle event! ๐Ÿฅ‰

Sheng, who is only 18 years old, already won a gold medal earlier this year at the Lima World Cup in April. In the qualification round in Munich, he was on fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ, scoring a whopping 635.3 points and leading the pack into the finals.

But the finals were super intense! Russian shooter Ilia Marsov took the lead with an amazing 106.9 points after just 10 shots. Sheng was right behind him, but then Norway’s Jon-Hermann Hegg moved ahead. Even though Sheng tried his best to catch up, he finished third with 230.2 points, just 0.9 points behind Hegg. It was so close! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

In the end, Marsov held onto his lead and won the gold with 252.3 points, while Hegg took the silver with 252.0 points.

Over in the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions event, Norway was shining again! Jeanette Hegg Duestad shot her way to gold with 466.9 points. Emely Jaeggi from Switzerland got silver, and India’s Sift Kaur Samra took home the bronze. China’s Miao Wanru did great too, finishing in fifth place.

Right now, the Chinese team is leading the medal standings with three gold medals and one bronze. Go Team China! ๐ŸŽ‰ Norway is not far behind with two golds and one silver.
