Hey kids! Big news from the United States 🇺🇸! President Donald Trump has just signed a new rule that stops people from 12 countries from traveling to the U.S. ✋🌎
This means that people from Afghanistan, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Myanmar, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen won’t be able to visit the U.S. anymore. 😮
The government says this is to keep everyone safe because these countries don’t have strong ways to check who is coming and going. 🕵️🔒
But that’s not all! The new rule also partly limits travel from 7 more countries: Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela. 🌐✈️
The travel ban starts next Monday at 12:01 a.m., so it’s happening really soon! ⏰
Some people won’t be affected, like those who already live in the U.S., have certain special visas, or whose travel is important for the country. 👍
Did you know? This isn’t the first time President Trump has done something like this. In his first term, he made a similar ban on travelers from some countries, which was later canceled by President Joe Biden in 2021. Now, the ban is back again! 🔄
