Hey kids! Did you know that students just like you are making amazing films to help the planet? 🌱
At Beijing Normal University’s Zhuhai campus in the Chinese mainland, college students have been busy creating short films all about protecting the environment. These films were chosen from nearly 280 entries for a special project called the “Refound Project” as part of the 32nd College Student Film Festival.
The films are super cool because they show how important it is to take care of our world. They were shown just before World Environment Day on June 5, to remind everyone to be kind to our planet. 🌎❤️
There are lots of categories in the competition, like “Most Creative Work”, “Greatest Innovation Potential”, and “Best Welfare Documentary”. The winners will be announced on June 10 at “Original Creation Night”—isn’t that exciting? 🎉
This project helps young filmmakers share their ideas about the environment. Last year, a winning film called “Guranay” was so good that it will be shown at an important United Nations conference about fighting desertification in 2024! 🌵
A group called the Society of Entrepreneurs and Ecology Conservation (SEE) is also helping out. They want to find talented teams from all over the world to tell awesome environmental stories through videos.
