Hey friends! 👋 Have you heard the big news from China? Over 3,000 companies from 62 different countries and regions have come together in Chengdu, a city in southwest China’s Sichuan Province, for a super cool event called the 20th Western China International Fair (WCIF)! 🎉
This amazing fair opened on Sunday and is showcasing lots of awesome technologies and products. For the first time ever, there are two guest countries of honor: Laos and Hungary. 🇱🇦🇭🇺
At Laos’ pavilion, you can find delicious tea and coffee ☕, beautiful furniture 🛋️, and unique handicrafts 🎨. Hungary is presenting 17 companies specializing in tasty wine 🍷, medical devices, and eco-friendly water treatment technology 💧.
The fair is a fantastic place where businesses can meet each other, share ideas, and make new friends. It’s helping companies from Laos and other countries connect and work together! 🤝
Guess what? An exhibitor from Indonesia named Fransisca Pauline Tjandra is at the fair for the first time! She is showing off handmade accessories like shell necklaces 🐚. She even learned some basic Chinese phrases to talk to visitors, like “nihao” (hello), “xiexie” (thanks), and “Duoshaoqian?” (How much?). Isn’t that cool? 🇮🇩
The fair is hosted by the Sichuan provincial government and will run until Thursday. That’s plenty of time for all these companies to share their awesome products and for people to explore new things from around the world! 🌍
