Guess what? China has just launched two new radar satellites into space! π
On Monday morning, a big rocket called the Long March-2C blasted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. This rocket carried two satellites named Siwei Gaojing-2 03 and 04. Pretty cool names, right?
So, what do these satellites do? π°οΈ
They are special because they have high-resolution radar. This means they can take super clear pictures of Earth, day or night, rain or shine! βοΈπ§οΈ That’s because radar can see through clouds and doesn’t need sunlight.
These satellites help with lots of things, like:
- Watching over natural resources π³
- Keeping cities safe ποΈ
- Helping in emergencies π
- Looking after the seas π
The Long March-2C rocket is really amazing too. It’s like the space bus that takes satellites into orbit. This was its 547th flight mission! That’s a lot of trips to space!
Isn’t space technology awesome? Maybe one day, you could work on satellites or rockets too! π
