What exactly is an earthquake? It’s when the Earth’s plates suddenly move, causing the ground to shake. This happens because of movements deep inside our planet! π
The epicenter, or the exact spot where the earthquake started, was at 28.91 degrees north latitude and 87.54 degrees east longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers below the ground.
Right after the earthquake, local authorities quickly took action. Firefighters and rescue teams rushed to the area to help anyone who might need it. ππ©βπ
Right now, they are checking if any buildings were damaged and making sure everyone is safe. We’ll have more updates as information comes in.
