Australia’s Hottest Spring Ever Recorded! 🌡️🔥

Hey there, friends! Have you ever felt super hot on a sunny day? 😅 Well, guess what? Australia just had its hottest spring ever recorded! 🌡️☀️ Let’s dive in and see what’s happening down under!

So, how hot was it? Between September and November, Australia’s average temperature was over 2 degrees Celsius higher than usual. That’s a big jump! 🌡️📈

The Bureau of Meteorology (that’s Australia’s team of weather experts 🕵️‍♂️🌦️) measures temperatures from 112 weather stations all over the country. They’ve been keeping track since 1910!

Breaking Records! This spring beat the old record set in 2020, when the temperature was 2.03 degrees above average. This time, it was 2.08 degrees higher! 🏆🔥

All of Australia’s states and territories felt the heat. 🌞 Queensland, in the northeast, had its hottest spring ever, being 2.47 degrees above average! Can you imagine that?

More Rain Too! Not only was it hot, but it was also wetter than usual! ☔🌈 Spring rainfall was 28% above average. September and November saw more rain, while October was a bit drier.

Some places even had their highest spring rainfall ever recorded! 🌧️ That’s a lot of puddles to jump in!

Heatwave Coming Up! And guess what? The hot weather isn’t stopping! A heatwave is expected in the first week of summer. Temperatures are going over 30 degrees Celsius on the east coast and might even reach over 40 degrees in Western Australia! 🔥🥵
