To celebrate 80 years since the end of World War II, artists from China and Russia are joining together to create amazing artwork that promotes peace. The exhibition is called “Peace and Friendship โ Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the World Anti-Fascist War”.
World War II was a big conflict that happened many years ago, affecting countries all around the world. It ended with a victory over fascism, which is a type of government that doesn’t allow people to have freedoms. This exhibition reminds us how important peace is for everyone! ๐โค๏ธ
Young artists aged 18 to 45 from China and Russia are sending in their best art pieces. If you have family or friends who love art, maybe they can join too! The submissions are open until mid-June, and the best artworks will be chosen at the end of June.
Winners will get cool awards! ๐ There will be 15 first-place, 25 second-place, and 40 third-place winners from each country. That’s 80 talented artists being celebrated!
The exhibition will be held at the China Millennium Monument in Beijing from August 7 to 16. If you’re in Beijing during that time, you can check out the awesome artwork in person! ๐ผ๏ธโจ
