Meet Anna: The Peruvian Teen Connecting China and Peru! π
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to live in a different country and learn a new culture? Let me introduce you to Anna Paula Peralta Reyes, a young student from Peru who is doing just that!
Anna is studying communication at the University of Lima. But here’s something cool: she studied at a Chinese school in Peru for 11 years! πβοΈ That means she can speak Chinese and knows a lot about Chinese culture.
After finishing school, Anna decided to go even furtherβshe traveled all the way to China to study at Jilin University! πβοΈ
Making Friends and Sharing Cultures π€
In China, Anna didn’t just go to classes. She made amazing friendships with local people. She taught Spanish to Chinese children using music! πΆπ€ How fun is that?
Anna also got to try lots of yummy Chinese food and went on trips with her friends’ families. She experienced how warm and friendly Chinese families can be. ππ―
Big Hopes for the Future π
Did you know that this year, there was an important meeting in Lima, Peru called the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting? ππ₯
Anna hopes that meetings like this will help countries work together, especially to help places that aren’t as developed. She thinks it’s important to create opportunities so everyone can grow and succeed! ππ€
In the future, Anna wants to use what she’s learned to promote cultural exchanges between China and Peru. She dreams of being a bridge that connects people from both countries. How awesome is that? π«π
You Can Be a Bridge Too! π
Just like Anna, you can learn about different cultures and make new friends from around the world. Maybe you’ll even get to visit another country someday!
What cultures are you interested in? What languages would you like to learn? The world is full of possibilities! πβ¨
